As part of the continuing activities of Project “Edukalidad: Supporting Back-To-School Under the New Normal” which seeks to support the government’s effort to reinforce the quality of education in the country after the onslaught of Covid-19 pandemic through the provision of the needed school’s facilities, PhilKOFA donated ICT equipment to Paradise Farms Community School (PFCS), Brgy. Kaybanban, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan on Sunday, 06 November 2022.
PhilKOFA, through its President, personally handed over Smart Televisions, Printers and Bond Papers to the school to augment learning and development programs for students. The school is located in a remote area with approximately 1,600 population, where most students live below poverty line. Usually, parents contribute when there is a necessity to purchase facilities that would be used for instructional purposes. Ms. Ernalyn Bongon, a parent, expressed her thanks to PhilKOFA since the project will ease the burden of parents to raise fund to purchase such ICT facilities.
The turnover ceremony was participated in by some teachers, parents and students, who, despite weekend, spared their time to go to school and witnessed the turnover of such facilities for their beloved school. The project was made possible through the effort of Ms. Jane A. Fullon and Ms. Madeline B. Sy, both are teachers, who coordinated with PhilKOFA for such request. Ms. Fullon expressed her sincere gratitude and thanks to PhilKOFA for donating such facilities which will be of great use to level up student’s learning and improve teaching methodologies.
