LingaPHILKOFA: Bayanihan Kontra Covid19 Para sa Kaligtasan ng Frontliners ng Cavite – 2 May 2020
On May 02, 2020, Philippine KOICA Fellows Association (PhilKOFA) President Gina Borinaga headed to the province of Cavite to implement the LingaPHILKOFA para sa Kaligtasan ng Frontliners sa Cavite. The activity aimed to donate medical and sanitation supplies to the frontliners of the Provincial Health Office of Trece Martirez, Cavite, General Emilio Aguinaldo Hospital, Philippine-Korea Friendship Hospital.
Medical and sanitation supplies include the following items:
- 50 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment;
- 10 boxes of Latex Gloves;
- 100 pieces of Face Shields;
- 50 pieces of Goggles; and
- 10 gallons of Disinfecting Alcohol

Pres. Borinaga handed over the above supplies to Ms. Emily Rosario Rivera, KOV Program Officer of the Korea International Cooperation Agency, which took place at Cavite Collaboration Center.

The activity was successfully undertaken despite limited movement due to the nationwide community quarantine causing the non-participation of other members of PhilKOFA.
