Election and Oath-taking Ceremony of PhilKOFA Board of Trustees for CY 2020-2021 – January 17, 2020
The new set of Board of Trustees (BOT) met last January 17, 2020 to further elect themselves to the different board positions and committees that will handle the various programs and activities of the Association. The program was opened by the welcome message of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Country Director (KCD) Song Min Hyeon, who was very grateful to have Philippine KOICA Fellows Association, Inc. (PhilKOFA) as their partner.
Prior to election, Ms. Pia Sison, KOICA’s Project Officer, and PhilKOFA President Ms. Gina Borinaga presented the KOICA Club Operation Guidelines and the PhilKOFA’s operations, board positions and committees, respectively. Past Presidents Ms. Editha Santos Abergas and Ms. Judy Vermudo were also present to give advice and share their experience with the BOTs. Each officer was given ample time to deliver a speech as a way of showing commitment and discussing priorities and preferred functions.
After voting and thorough deliberation, the following are BOT’s board position/committee for CY 2020-2021:

The newly elected officers then took their oath, which was headed by KCD Song Min Hyeon and finally went for a friendly dinner with KOICA staffs. The election was held at the former office of KOICA located in Petron Megaplaza, Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City.
